In a story you'll first read about here, Henson Media's Sports/WMSK (1550am, Morganfield, Kentucky) changes call letters to WUCO ("Union County"). Also, they add a new translator for 1550am: Meet W253BJ (98.5fm, Morganfield, Kentucky). The translator broadcasts from the same tower site as WUCO and Country/WMSK-FM (101.3fm, Sturgis, Kentucky). Both WUCO and the FM translator now air all holiday music, and will debut a new format for 2015.

In a story you'll first read about here, Talking Stick Communications' Classic Rock/WRSW-FM (107.3fm, Warsaw) welcomes Mark Allen to afternoons (Noon until 6pm). Mr. Allen replaces AC McCray who exits for the world of TV and joins Quincy Broadcasting's FOX affiliate WSJV-TV (Channel 28, Elkhart).

Woof Boom Radio's News-Talk/WHBU (1240am, Anderson) adds an FM translator: W279CL (103.7fm, Anderson). Woof Boom Chief Engineer Sean Mattingly has more about the addition here.

Construction continues on WLZT (94.1fm, Worthington), the new allocation chosen in 2009. WLZT recently filed a request with the FCC to move their proposed tower site from alongside IN-157 (on the southeast side of Worthington) to a short pole near IN-157 and US-231 in downtown Worthington.

Where Are They Now? Former WAOR PD/Mornings Mike Ragozino ("Ragz") now programs and handles afternoons at KXTG in Portland, Oregon.

Broadcast Engineer (Support Staff)

Vincennes University is seeking applicants for the support staff position of Broadcast Engineer. This position reports to the Director of Engineering and Director of Operations for WVUT & WVUB. The position is responsible for on-air quality control, end user technical support and equipment installation and maintenance/repair in a state-of-the-art broadcast/media environment. This is a full-time support staff position with benefits. Standard schedule is Mondaythrough Friday, 2nd Shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Set up, operate, and maintain radio and television broadcast equipment

* Installation and wiring of broadcast and IT based broadcast systems

* Provide quality services to all departments within Vincennes University's Electronic Media

* Provide Emergency service as required to restore broadcast operations.

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds with reaching overhead, bending and twisting

* Must hold a valid driver's license

Required Qualifications:

* Associates Degree in Electronics, IT, Broadcasting, or related field

* Prior audio and video or electronics experience

* Ability to use common broadcast equipment

* Working knowledge of computer systems and networking

Desired Qualifications:

* 3-5 years of general work experience in a broadcast environment

* Have knowledge of digital and high definition studio equipment, ENG & EFP cameras and gear

* Excellent customer service skills with attention to details

* Have experience working with remote broadcast equipment

* Have knowledge in broadcast RF transmission equipment
