Gray Television's NBC affiliate/WNDU-TV (Channel 16, South Bend) promotes Jessica Laszewski to News Director. Ms. Laszewski is the News Director at Gray sister CBS affiliate WSAW-TV in the Wausau, Wisconsin market.

Northwest

With Saint Joseph's College suspending operations, their Variety/WPUM (93.3fm, Rensselaer) signed off Thursday April 27 at 7:00PM. WPUM received their FCC license on January 25, 1978. WPUM did a CHR format for about four decades. In 2008, WPUM flipped formats to a variety format, encompassing multiple music genres (And, they became "Joe," as in "Joe Plays Whatever." Several WPUM alumni broadcast each hour on Thursday. At 5:00PM, Associate Professor of Communication and Director of Radio Sally Berger joined her husband (Associate Professor of Communication/Director of Television Fred Berger) for a two hour retrospective, including six DJs from when WPUM first debuted. At the end, Michael Moyer joined them. Mr. Moyer was the first DJ on WPUM and he played the song that he first played when he joined WPUM: Al Stewart's 1976 tune "Year of the Cat."

Central

Emmis' Country/WLHK (97.1fm, Shelbyville) welcomes Cara Denis to MD/Afternoons, succeeding J.D. Cannon who recently retired. Ms. Denis isn't a stranger to the Hoosier state, as she's worked for Cumulus at New Castle's WMDH-FM (Mornings, Promotions), and for Emmis/Indianapolis, producing the Dave O'Brien morning show at "97.1 Hank FM" for about two years. Ms. Denis last worked as APD/morning co-host at Zimmer's KCLR in Columbia, Missouri. Ms. Denis begins at Hank FM on Monday May 8.

Emmis' N-T/WIBC (93.1fm, Indianapolis) will roll out a new lineup on June 12, as Greg Garrison will retire and Abdul-Hakim Shabazz will exit his hour-long 6pm timeslot to focus on his blog:

6:00am until 9:00am: Tony Katz and the Morning News (from 10:00am)
9:00am until 11:00am: "Chicks on the Right" (from 4:00pm until 6:00pm)
11:00am until 1:00pm: Tony Katz Today (Succeeding Greg Garrison)
1:00pm until 4:00pm: Dana Loesch ("The Dana Show")
4:00pm until 7:00pm: Jason Hammer and Nigel Laskowski ("Hammer & Nigel")

DTV America's W33CU-D (Channel 33, Evansville) changes call letters to WUCU-LD.
