Northeast

Bott Broadcasting's Religious/WFCV (1090am, Fort Wayne) adds a 230 watt FM translator: Meet W229CO (93.7fm, Fort Wayne). This translator antenna is on one of the Hillegas Road towers, on Fort Wayne's west side.

In March, Northeast Indiana Public Radio's WBOI (89.1fm, Fort Wayne) will adjust their Sunday schedule. Since "The Vinyl Café" will no longer be distributed by PRI, WBOI will move "Ask Me Another" from Sunday at 7pm to Sunday at Noon. An encore presentation of "The Movie Music Spotlight" (hosted by Rob Martinez) will air on Sunday from 7pm until 8pm, just before The Burnt Toast Show (hosted by Todd Harrold) from 8pm until 11pm.

Northwest

King Forward changes call letters on four of their LPTV stations:

W33DE-D (Channel 33, Wolcott) becomes WQDE-LD.
W30DI-D (Channel 30, Wolcott) becomes WSDI-LD.
W39DM-D (Channel 39, Wolcott) becomes WUDM-LD.
And, oddly enough, W49DS-D (Channel 49, Wolcott) becomes KPDS-LD.

Eastcentral

Fayette County Emergency Management has a CP for WEJK-LP (100..7fm, Connersville). The minimum power for LPFMs is 47 watts, so the FCC denied the license to cover, as WEJK-LP proposed an effective radiated power of 27 watts.

Central

After two years, Tim Doty exits as midday news anchor at Tribune Broadcasting's CBS affiliate WTTV-TV (Channel 4, Bloomington)/WTTK-TV (Channel 29, Kokomo). Mr. Doty joined WTTV as part of the group of journalists that Tribune hired upon adding the CBS affiliation in 2015.

Frank Mickens succeeds Mr. Doty. Mr. Mickens joined WTTV-TV last month from Greensboro/Winston-Salem, North Carolina (WFMY-TV).

Southeast

Ryan Media adds a 250 watt FM translator to their Sports/WXVW (1450am, Jeffersonville): Meet W230CK (96.1fm, Jeffersonville). This translator antenna is on a tower just over the Ohio River in Louisville, Kentucky.
