Northeast

A second station in the Fort Wayne market has changed formats, within the last month. Russ Oasis' Fort Wayne Radio Corp. flips Urban/WJFX (107.9fm, New Haven) to Dance-CHR, as "Hot 107.9". Country/WQHK Asst. GSM Roger Diehm exits, joining WJFX as VP/GM. The station is now being consulted by Tony Coles, who used to work as PD of (then 70's)/WFWI (92.3fm, Fort Wayne). PD B.J. Steele is out; Steele also did a mid-day airshift. Afternoon guy Big Daddy T.C. also exits. Replacing Steele in the PD capacity is Michelle Price from KHXT/Memphis, Tennessee. For now, the station remains jockless.

For those interested in how the format changed, Morning man Geno Burgess played 2pac's "Changes", repeatedly, starting at 9am, Thursday 21 January. At 6am the next morning, the new station debuted.

Northwest

Alt/WGBD (95.7fm, Attica) welcomes Greg K. for overnights.

Westcentral

CHR/WMGI (100.7fm, Terre Haute) makes Ryan Cota their new "voice." Cota recently signed with Sean Caldwell Productions.

Southwest

CHR/WSTO (96.1fm, Owensboro, Kentucky) afternooner Jimmy Ocean takes adds MD duties.

That's it for this issue! See you in two weeks...
