Alternative/WEJE (96.3fm, Churubusco) announces a new DJ lineup: Michael Dean keeps mornings. Susan Harley moves from overnights to middays. Jamie Marchiori moves to afternoons, replacing PD Sean Smyth who moves off-air. Weasel keeps nights. The syndicated show "Lovephones" is still on from 10pm - midnight.

Dan Knight, newsman at News-Talk/WOWO (1190am, Fort Wayne) exits, his job eliminated. The Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette says OM Tommy Allen did not eliminate his job based on performance. Allen failed to say why the job was eliminated. Consequently, local newscasts at 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm weekdays disappear. Lee Burdorf, newsman at WOWO, will take Knight's weekend newscasts.

Former WPTA-TV (Channel 21, Fort Wayne [ABC Affiliate]) VP/GM John Sloan acquires GM/GSM duties at the Kovas properties: WGL(AM) & FM, WGLL, and WEJE.

That's it for this issue! See you in two weeks...
