Station History

WJKS was on the air in the 1930's, sharing time with WGES, Chicago, Illinois. In 1931, the Federal Radio Commission ordered WIBO and WPCC (both in Chicago), and granted full-time status to WJKS on 560am. WJKS later changed call letters to WIND, and moved city of license to Chicago by the mid-1940's.
