Station History

98.1fm signed on June 25, 1985. In 1995, Steven Lankenau purchased a 100% stock interest in Wolfe Communications, Inc. from Robert Wolfe. In December 1998, Wolfe Communications, Inc. sold WDFM for around $4 million to Clear Channel (then Jacor).
