Station History

107.5fm signed on March 6, 1987, with the WABX call letters, 5:59pm with Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water." In May 2014, South Central Communications Corp. sold all of their radio stations, including WABX, for $72 million to Midwest Communications, Inc.
