Station History

96.3fm signed on at 6:00am on October 28, 1991. To earn the CP, in March 1991, Bill Shirk bought out the other ten contendors for $589,750. He received FCC approval in July. In March 2000, Shirk, Inc. sold WHHH (along with its sister stations) to Radio One, Inc. for $40 million.
