1380AM signed on November 15, 1947.

WKJG(AM) (Take 1)

WKJG's calls stand for 'William Kunkel, Journal-Gazette'. Studios were at 2633 W. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46805 (along with then-WKJG-TV), 220 E. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46802 and at 3802 S. Calhoun St., Fort Wayne, IN 46807-2011. Owned by Northeastern Indiana Broadcasting Co. On September 30, 1971 (when it was a Top 40 station), WKJG(AM) & FM signed off and broke off from then-WKJG-TV (Channel 33, Fort Wayne). Also on that day, WKJG(AM) became WMEE(AM) while WKJG-FM became WMEF-FM.

WMEE(AM) signed on October 1, 1971 as 'The Big 1380.' (with sister station WMEF-FM).

WHWD(AM)

Standards format (ABC's 'Stardust' format.) Studios located at 2915 Maples Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46816-3199.

WONO(AM)

Studios located at 2915 Maples Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46816-3199. WONO changed formats from Adult Standards to Sports on September 1, 1998. In November 1999, WHWD's call letters changed to WONO those calls were derived from their satellite network ('One-On-One-Sports'). WONO dropped One-on-One affiliation in August 2000 and picks up ESPN. 1380's new moniker became 'ESPN Radio 1380.' but they retained the WONO call letters. On Monday November 3, 2003 at 6:00pm, WONO changed calls to WKJG.

WKJG(AM) (Take 2)

Of note is that WKJG-TV is now WISE-TV. They changed call letters on May 26, 2003 (Memorial Day).
