Station History

WAMW(AM)

1580am signed on in January 1955. Greene Electronics sold WAMW(AM) and FM to DLC Media, Inc.. An LMA began on September 1, 2001. On October 1, 2003, WAMW(AM) changed formats from Salem Radio Network's "Solid Gospel" to their "Today's Christian Music" format. The contemporary Christian format ended in September 2004, with a format change to standards. The LMA became a finalized sale to DLC Media, Inc. on March 20, 2008. Studios formerly located at 104 E. Main Street, Washington, IN 47501-2908.
