In 2006, former WPTA-TV (Channel 21, Fort Wayne) meteorologist Chris Bradley joined WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio. Today, he's their chief meteorologist. Earlier this year, doctors diagnosed Mr. Bradley with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He underwent chemotherapy, had a stem cell transplant, and went into remission. Mr. Bradley's family told WBNS-TV that he's no longer in remission and he's battling severe pneumonia while in the ICU at a Columbus, Ohio hospital.

Gray Television's NBC affiliate/WNDU-TV (Channel 16, South Bend) welcomes News Director Kate Glover. Ms. Glover recently spent nearly a year as News Director in Buffalo, New York (WGRZ-TV). Before that, Ms. Glover worked for nearly three years as Assistant News Director (and, they promoted her to News Director) at KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon.

Early next year, Weigel Broadcasting's ABC affiliate WBND-TV (Channel 57, South Bend) will welcome evening news anchor Brian Conybeare. Mr. Conybeare will co-anchor four evening newscasts with Colleen Bormann (5:00pm, 5:30pm, 6:00pm and 11:00pm), along with a 10:00pm local newscast on sister CW affiliate WCWW-LD (Channel 25, South Bend). Mr. Conybeare last worked as a reporter and anchor for WCBS-TV in New York City and News12 Westchester, New York.

The FCC cancels the license of Hoosier Public Radio's WRFM (89.1fm, Wilkinson). WRFM went silent over a year ago.
