Standards/WKQM (96.3fm, Churubusco) flips to Alternative as "The Edge". Jacobs Media now consults owners Frank & Connie Kovas, while "The Edge" assembles an airstaff.
AC/WOWO (1190am, Fort Wayne) adds WPTA-TV weathercaster Jay Walker on October 8. Rick Hughes, midday guy at Country/WQHK (105.1fm, Decatur) is handling interim hosting duties.
At AC/WMEE (97.3fm, Fort Wayne), Toni Kayumi exits. Charly Butcher takes mornings, solo. Butcher was at WOWO (1190am, Fort Wayne) where he did 1pm - 3pm.
Replacing Butcher at WOWO is Ron Gregory. Gregory has worked on and off at WOWO for the past 15+ years. He had left WOWO for awhile when he was owner of then-CHR/WZRQ (106.3fm, Columbia City), now WDJB.
Over at CHR/WDJB (106.3fm, Columbia City), morning guy Phlash Phelps departs. PD Scott Thomas and Susan Harley are handling mornings.
