Northeast

After six months, the Bob and Sheri syndicated morning show exit Oasis Radio Group's Country/WBTU (93.3fm, Kendallville). A music intensive morning show replaces the duo.

Zach Bonahoom exits Federated Media's N-T/WOWO and WOWO-FM (1190am, 92.3fm; both Fort Wayne), where he briefly hosted a Saturday local talk show. The syndicated Dave Ramsey show replaces Mr. Bonahoom.

Homestead High School's Alternative/WCYT (91.1fm, Lafayette Township) welcomes Andy Dunn as Station Manager, under GM Adam Schenkel. Mr. Dunn volunteered at WCYT since June 2011.

Where Are They Now? Former Indiana radio PD (WBTU in Fort Wayne, WYNG in Evansville, WLJE in Valparaiso) Kevin "Crash" Davis just became PD at WPLL-FM, WDVH(AM) and WRZN(AM) in Gainesville, Florida. A former Hoosier broadcaster, Cameilla Pflum is the GM at these MARC Radio-owned stations, who we recently profiled in our Radio Spotlight.

Northwest

After four and a half years, VP of Radio Operations Dan Bindert exits Northwest Indiana Public Broadcasting's NPR-Variety/WLPR (89.1fm, Lowell). Mr. Bindert joined WLPR when it launched in January 2009. WLPR APD Tavis Buchan becomes the acting VP of Radio Operations.

Central

Deacon now hosts middays on Entercom's Hot AC/WZPL (99.5fm, Greenfield).

Southwest

Edgewater Broadcasting closes on its $31,500 sale of W201BO (88.1fm, Vincennes) to Bethel Baptrist Church.

Henson Media's Classic Hits/WSON and translator W243CU (860am, 96.5fm; both Henderson, Kentucky) is hard at work on developing live video streaming of local high school football games. Also, in the next few months, they will roll out new mobile apps for both Apple iPhone and Android operating systems.

89.1 WBOI and 94.1 WBNI public radio in Fort Wayne seeks a Business Development Specialist to secure financial support for our stations. Duties include: prospecting potential program underwriters, preparing proposals for underwriting and event sponsorship, and writing copy to satisfy client needs, FCC regulations and station policies. In collaboration with the General Manager, annual goals will be set for underwriting and sponsorship, as well as monthly targets and weekly activity levels for meeting goals. This position will also assist with on-air fundraising and community promotional activities.
