Last week's IRW bounced to several e-mail addresses. It contained a
clarification on WIBC's Leigh DeNoon, along with stories on WBOW-FM,
WTHR-TV, WSDM-FM and WAXI (AM) (amongst other stories) - If you did not

Northeast
Rhythmic CHR/WJFX (107.9fm, New Haven) morning show co-host Branden
Blaettner ("Della") exits. The Weasel Show continues with interim PD
Weasel and co-host Aly.
Northcentral
Schurz Communications' WSBT/WNSN (960am, 101.5fm, both South Bend) promote
Jim Roberts to OM of WNSN, WSBT, and WHFB(AM)-FM (1060am, 99.9fm, both
Benton Harbor, Michigan). Roberts will continue as PD of WNSN and WHFB.
FCC Auction No. 62 has an Indiana connection - Bids will be taken for a
Class A allocation on 98.3fm, licensed to Culver. Minimum bid: $70,000.
CBS Affiliate WSBT-DT (Channel 30, South Bend) wants to modify its DTV CP
to put the antenna at the top of their tower and drop power - From 400kW
at 784 feet to 229kW at 1091 feet. They're currently running under an STA
at 280kW from the 784 foot level.
WJJD-LP (101.3fm, Kokomo) signs on. They're owned by the Seventh-Day
Adventist Church in Kokomo.
Northwest
Radio One Communications' AC/WZVN (107.1fm, Lowell) MD/Imaging
Director/Morning Co-Host Matt Carter exits. He's now with Shadow/Metro
Broadcast Services in Chicago.
WTGO-LP (97.7fm, Lafayette) is now on the air, operated by Harvest Chapel.
They also add the Canadian produced, Christian Top 40 "Hot 20 Countdown"
show.
Eastcentral
LPFM station WJPB-LP (99.1fm, Muncie) signs on - It's owned by the Jackson
Park Baptist Church.
Central
Ben Davis High School station WBDG is tentatively planning a banquet to
celebrate its 40th year on the air. The event will be held sometime next
spring or summer...probably March, June, or July, so that alumni working
in television can attend without the pressure of squeezing our event in
during sweeps. WBDG alumni should get in touch with WBDG Station Manager

Westcentral
Inside Radio reports that Midwest Communications recently closed on their
$3.4 million purchase of Bright Tower Communications stations CHR/WMGI
(100.7fm, Terre Haute) and Hot AC/WWSY (95.9fm, Seelyville).
Southcentral
K-LOVE's Religious/WJLR (91.5fm, Seymour) is granted a CP to boost power
from a 5600 watt Class B1 to a 34,000 watt Class B station.
Southeast
CSN's CP for WOJC (89.9fm, Crothersville) will now be on 89.7fm. That
move was recently granted by the FCC.

Whitewater Broadcasting is searching for a dynamic personality that can
lead the future of their heritage AM. 1490 WKBV has been a staple in
Richmond for nearly 80 years and needs some fresh blood for wake-up
