Mark Osborn returns to radio sales management as the new Director of Sales for the Oasis Radio Group trio of radio stations (WBTU, WHPP and WJFX). For many years, he worked at Federated Media, ending his tenure there in the same role for their Fort Wayne radio stations.

Bair Communications' Oldies/WROI (92.1fm, Rochester) completes a CP and increases ERP to 6000 watts at 187 feet.

Northwest

Where Are They Now? Yesterday, former WASK-FM PD Mark Allen joined KIAI in Mason City, Iowa as PD and morning host.

Eastcentral

Indiana Community Radio Corp. sells its W296BA (107.1fm, Connersville) for $55,000 to Rodgers Broadcasting Corp.

Taylor University Broadcasting, Inc. receives a CP for a translator W267BN (101.3fm, Marion).

Race and Vanessa Ashlyn both exit Vox/Marion. Mr. Ashlyn was GM there, while Mrs. Ashlyn did middays for Vox's Country/WCJC (99.3fm, Van Buren). Bryan Spies replaces Mr. Ashlyn in the GM chair. Sam Adams replaces Mrs. Ashlyn in middays.

Central

Entercom Adult Hits/WNTR (107.9fm, Indianapolis) flips format to Hot AC as "Indy's Mix" under OM/PD JR Ammons. Mr. Ammons debuts the airstaff: JoJo Morales (mornings), Sheryl Stewart (middays), Dave Smiley (temporarily afternoons; along with mornings at sister WZPL) and Chase Daniels (nights). Sports/WXNT (1430am, Indianapolis) promotes Hunter to APD. Over at sister Hot AC/WZPL (99.5fm, Indianapolis), Hunter does nights and is APD. Mr. Ammons also promotes WZPL afternooner Nikki Reed to Music Director.

John Cardenas leaves the GM chair at Dispatch Broadcasting's NBC affiliate WTHR-TV (Channel 13, Indianapolis) for a promotion to VP/News for Dispatch's TV stations and GM at Dispatch's CBS affiliate in Columbus, Ohio (WBNS-TV). Mr. Cardenas worked at WBNS (News Director) from 1999 through 2010, before assuming the GM chair at WTHR-TV.

Also at WTHR, meteorologist Kyle Mounce arrives from WPSD-TV in Paducah, Kentucky.

Lori Wilson will join LIN Media CBS affiliate WISH-TV (Channel 8, Indianapolis) in mid-June as 5:00PM anchor and evening reporter. Ms. Wilson arrives in the capital city from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's WCAU-TV.

Tribune Broadcasting FOX affiliate WXIN (Channel 59, Indianapolis) welcomes Kerri Cavanaugh as news director, starting June 17. Ms. Cavanaugh last worked at Tribune sister TV station WXMI-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she was news director since 2010. Ms. Cavanaugh's television career also includes stops in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (WSFL), Tampa, Florida (WFTS), West Palm Beach, Florida (WPEC) and Tuscaloosa, Alabama (WDBB).

Where Are They Now (Part 1)? Former WRWM morning co-host Monica Lunsford now co-hosts mornings at KUPL in Portland, Oregon.

Where Are They Now (Part 2)? Former WISH-TV News Director Patti McGettigan is now an Executive Producer at WCMH-TV in Columbus, Ohio.

Westcentral

Word Power, Inc. receives a CP for a translator W232CJ (94.3fm, Casey, Illinois).

Southcentral

Indiana University's NPR/Classical WFIU (103.7fm, Bloomington) adds The TED Radio Hour on Sunday from 4:00pm until 5:00pm.

Southwest

Barry James recently retired from Chicago radio, as the PD of their WILV. In the late 1970s, Mr. James worked overnights (and worked his way up to middays and Music Director) at WGBF (1280am, Evansville).

Mark Evans exits the news department at South Central's AC/WIKY (104.1fm, Evansville) and moves west to San Diego, California and the morning news chair at KOGO(AM).
